Sachin Tendulkar - God of Cricket

The God of Cricket

This post is dedicated to the God of Cricket, Sir Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

As I write this post, I realize that my age is 23 years and Sachin’s cricketing career is 24 years implying that he has started playing cricket even before I was born.
Just like many others, I started watching cricket just because of him. He's not just a cricketer but has been an inspiration and a role-model for billions of his followers including me.
An emotional moment as I watched Sachin Tendulkar retire from cricket in his 200th and last test match of his cricket career.

Some of the historic moments of the day.

His walk to the centre of the ground, the glance at the skies, those swirling arms, the shadow straight drive, legs flapping in an urgent stand-and-run, shoulders puffed while the crowd goes berserk in the background !!!

Sachin touches the skies and the earth at the same time. A picture which says a lot about his dedication and passion for the game of cricket.
